Storm Update
Over the last few days, the Killington area has been inundated with rain and severe storms. This has led to several road closures, flooding, and evacuations in some parts of the state. While not as severe, authorities are comparing the recent damage to the infamous 2011 storm, Hurricane Irene.
With the area bracing for more rain and flooding, we’re urging all travelers and residents to be vigilant and stay informed. Local officials are encouraging limited travel, given the current state of our roads. The ongoing storms have rendered several area roads impassable, while Cedarbrook and the surrounding area have been evacuated.
Road Closures
East Mountain Road has seen extensive damage, while Route 4 near Skyship Gondola has been closed. On Route 100, the intersection of Route 4 and Wilderness Road in West Bridgewater is currently inaccessible. We strongly advise residents and visitors to abide by these closures and adjust their travel plans accordingly.
Killington Adventure Center Closed
Due to the weather, all summer operations at Killington Resort will be closed Monday, July 10, and Tuesday, July 11. This includes the Adventure Center, Bike Park, Daycare, and Golf Course. This decision has been made to ensure the safety of staff and patrons.
